“The most effective way to do it is just to do it”.- Amelia Earheart.
There are many inspirational women in history, from Mother Teresa. She dedicated her life to charity and humanitarian work, to Amelia Earhart, the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic and a women’s rights pioneer. Female Empowerment at is best.
We celebrate their achievements in creating future change and admire their actions. These women did exactly what they said they were going to do, they had great inner belief and purpose, and they also had courage, strength, kindness, resilience, and persistence.
Inspiration can touch and shape us in many ways; sometimes, it can be as simple as a conversation with a friend, a family member or a teacher. It doesn’t have to present itself as a tremendous historical feat.
The most inspiring influence as I grew up was my paternal grandmother; she was a great cook and, on reflection, away ahead of her time. She was one of those women that threw a handful of this and that into a cast iron pot and stirred as she tasted, seasoned and adjusted with a sprinkle of magic.
The days I spent in her kitchen, balanced on a chair and looking over her shoul-der as she cooked, impacted my life. My grandmother taught me so much more than how to fry an egg – she gave me the tools I needed to navigate life as a young woman. I’m sure many of you feel the same if you’ve been as lucky. Even though she passed many years ago, I frequently look to the sky to ask what she thinks. In most cases, I already know the answer; she planted the seeds years ago.
I truly admired my grandmother; she had vision, courage and gusto! She was, in other words, kick-ass!
Female empowerment, for me, embodies a woman’s sense of self-worth; it reflects in every area of life. If it’s low, she will struggle; if it’s high, she will fly. The best way to empower yourself and the women around you is, in my opinion, through education or training. Find something you love and become an expert in it. If you genuinely love it, it should be easy! It’s that simple.

Empowerment leads to confidence, self-awareness, and control regarding whom you want to be and what you wish to achieve in life. You will inspire the women around you, especially young women, just by being you, but few of us realise this. We put ourselves under so much pressure.
Social media can have an adverse effect, especially on young women. They think they must look, dress, or act in a way to be accepted, but I’m afraid I have to disagree.
Our strap line is FeelGoodNaked. We feel every woman should be able to feel good in their skin regardless of size, shape, scars and so-called imperfections.
A synonym for empowerment is ‘okay’. When I looked that up, it excited me. Sometimes being okay is very okay, which should mean everything to us.
“A girl should be two things: who and what she wants ”is a quote by Coco Chanel. Women should feel empowered more and more to do what they wish to accomplish in their career, education, family life, friendships, and community .So go and do it.
Tag and let us know who has empowered you today!
